2010 Chevrolet Aveo Overview
The Chevrolet Aveo was redesigned in 2007 and returns for 2010 with the sedan available in LS and LT trims and the hatchback , available in LS and SVM trims. All models are powered by a 103 horsepower 1.6L four-cylinder engine that claims a mileage rating of 35 mpg on the highway and 27 mpg in the city (with five-speed manual transmission). The engine is mated to either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment on all models include air conditioning, day time running lights, and tire pressure monitoring system. Available upgrades include a six-disc CD changer, a power sunroof, heated outside mirrors, and steering wheel-mounted controls. The Chevrolet Aveo LS was introduced in 2004 and a redesign is expected in 2011.
 
2010 Chevrolet Cobalt Overview
For 2010 the Chevrolet Cobalt is now available in six trims: LS, LT, and Sport; in both sedan and coupe bodystyles. The LS and LT models come powered by a 2.2L 148-hp engine; whereas the Sport is powered by a 2.4L 171-hp engine. All models come equipped with a five-speed manual transmission. Safety features include tire pressure monitor, trunk entrapment release, dual front airbags, and front and rear head curtain airbags. The LT has an optional Chrome Package available that offers: chrome exhaust, front fog lights, white-faced sport gauges, rear spoiler, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift lever, and steering wheel touch controls. New colors added for 2010: Blue Flash Metallic, Slate Metallic, and Imperial Blue Metallic. The Chevrolet Cobalt LS was introduced in 2005; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
 
2010 Chevrolet Impala Overview
Chevy's large sedan enters 2007 with only minor revisions and is available in several trims: LS, LT 3.5L, LT 3.9L, LTZ, and SS. The Impala's 3.5L engine is brand new for this year, while the 3.9L receives a new Active Fuel Management system. Standard equipment across the board includes side-impact airbags, a remote keyless entry system, the OnStar system, daytime running lights, and a theft-deterrent system. Available optional amenities include traction control, anti-lock brakes, a remote vehicle starter system, XM satellite radio, and rear flip-and-fold seats. Six-passenger seating can also be selected for an extra cost. Rounding off the list of changes are four new exterior colors: Precision Red, Blue, Bordeaux Red, and Red Jewel. The Chevrolet Impala SS was last redesigned in 2006 and the next major change is expected in 2011.
 
2010 Chevrolet Malibu Overview
For 2010, the Chevy Malibu has been completely redesigned. It is available in three trims: LS, LT, and LTZ. Along with the new exterior and interior styling the Malibu will offer standard head-curtain side air bags and front-seat thorax air bags, OnStar Gen 7 with remote diagnostics, and XM Satellite Radio on all models. The OnStar Gen 7 will feature standard automatic crash notification service and OnStar Turn-by-Turn Navigation - the first factory-installed, fully integrated GPS navigation system from OnStar. StabiliTrak electronic stability control is standard on LT and LTZ models. Choice of economic powertrains will include a 2.4L Ecotec DOHC four-cylinder engine and a 3.6L DOHC V-6 engine with variable valve timing (vvt). The Chevrolet Malibu Classic LT was last redesigned in 2004 and the next major change is expected in 2010.
